How To Increase Your Blog Readers

Blog_Readers
There are 100s of articles on Google if you want to get traffic to your blog. The only problem is that you will hardly find anything those talks about the real truth behind their own traffic sources and how they increased their blog traffic.
Hope you understood what I meant!
Anyways these are some the tips (facts) to increase your traffic from my personal experience with BTST and few of my other types:
  • When I started BTST I got my first few visitors from Shout Me Loud, Hellbound Bloggers and other blogs. I used to comment on those 2 blogs a lot.
  • I started getting traffic for keywords which had very low competition on Google. For example: http://adf.ly/3oJzD
  • Right from the day 1 I have been using All-in-one SEO plugin to create two titles for the same article with good keywords in it. This has helped me increase the traffic a lot. I recommend you to use this plugin on your blog if you haven’t already.
  • The Bloggers contests have generated the maximum traffic to the blog than any other method!
  • Blogging about Google has increased BTST traffic and also all the new feature that Google launches. For example: http://adf.ly/3oOQn
  • Lately interviewing a couple of bloggers who are successful has generated a good amount of traffic to BTST.
  • I don’t use bit.ly or any other short URL sites while tweeting on Twitter. I use the actual permalink of my blog posts.
  • When I write an article I publish it first and then I go to Google and search for articles similar to what I wrote and blog comment on those posts.
I can go on listing all of the tactics that I use to get traffic for BTST. But I guess these are some of the best tips that I can share it with you guys and gals as of now.
If you have any questions or if you want to share your thoughts about this article.

  1. great tips! blogging and commenting are things that i think everyone who does SEO should use. The key to a successful seo campaign is to closely monitor your results and find out what works and what doesn't. If you skip this step, you may be wasting thousands of dollars on useless links and content. Thanks for sharing this!
